Participating Paddlers: Barbara, Barb R, Darwin, Ken V, Ted, Tom, Phyllis, Sandy

Had a great evening paddle. One question of either north? or south? ended up being east and 40 minutes later we were at Cape Mudge. It was one of those rare nights where the group, the time, the wind and the current all lined up. It's a complete spontanous joy when it happens.

Saw some interesting skylines, some porpoise and a very large sea lion pretending to be a whale. Barbara G did most of the spotting. Ted was the sweep. Ken V could not find the door prize. Barb R and Darwin were both sporting new homemade Greenland paddles. We lost Phyllis but were glad to see her. Nice that Sandy joined us at the fire. A late supper of hotdogs and chocolate by the fire was enjoyed by all. By the chart its just over 2 nautical miles in a straight line over there. With various different group leaders we probably did about 6 to get there and back.

Life is good. Tom
