Participating Paddlers: Christine, Darwin, Barb, Tim, Jon & Emily .

Sun was playing peekaboo, but it was warm and the sea was calm. Uneventful paddle along the shoreline to Oyster River.
Paddlers entered the river, where shallow stony bars had only inches of water at some places, so we did not go far in.
Not too much wildlife this evening either, but blue herons were present and a few Merganser ducks, including a Merganser's kindergarten.
Christine sported a different boat tonight and was uncomfortable in the seat, suffering a backache. On the way from the river back to the bay she turned to paddle south to her home (on the water). Paddle finished at 8 p.m. Emily rushed off as she had a dinner planned at Driftwood with her visiting son.
Pleasant evening with easy paddling
