Saratoga - Salmon Point Pub

Wow, what a turn out. 18 paddlers came out to enjoy the beautiful evening
weather out on the water. A special welcome to Barb and Christine, new members
of CR Paddlers, and it was great to have Chris along.
After waiting for nuestro presidente to get in his kayak (just kidding Ken
we know you had business to take care of before getting to the fun stuff),
we headed north.
Tom was very thoughtful of logistics and suggested that we do our
loop north of the pub before stopping in for refreshments. Something to
remember when planning future pub trips. I must say, there was a noticable
increase in paddling speed when we turned to head south to the pub. I guess
everyone was thirsty?
The crew at the pub were very adaptable and managed to fit us in even though
it was a bigger group than planned for - the beers and drinks flowed, Ken B.
provided appies (thanks Ken!), and there was lots of great conversation.
Cheers everyone!

Thanks Debbie for coordinating this trip.
